Planting Guide
  • Choose the right location

Eggplants: Favor full sun locations and evenly moist soil conditions. Water them deeply whenever the top inch of soil dries out, avoiding overhead watering to minimize leaf diseases. The soil should be well-drained and rich in organic matter with a slightly acidic to neutral pH, ideally around 5.5 to 6.5. Regular feeding every two weeks with a balanced fertilizer can support their vigorous growth and fruit development. Staking the plants may be necessary to support the weight of the fruits as they mature. Keep an eye out for common pests such as flea beetles and spider mites, and take appropriate measures to control them.
  • Prepare an appropriate hole

Choose a pot that is 1-2 times larger than the current pot, ensuring there is adequent drainage to prevent waterlogging roots. Plan on repotting every 3-5 years.
  • Use fertile soil

Choose soil rich in nutrients and with good drainage to support root growth.
  • Plant at the correct depth

Plant at the same depth as in the pot, keeping the top of the root ball level with the soil.
  • Care and watering

Water the plant appropriately, keeping the soil moist but not too wet.
